Liaise with other functional units in ensuring all processes appertaining to SCOPE including Non-Food Items (NFIs) requirements are managed on time Ensure timely redemption monitoring for the CP during distribution through scope platform. Support in preparation of various nutrition activities, trainings, capacity building and any other activities related nutrition. Maintain a database of nutrition feeding centers & Food distribution points; Review project proposals, Cooperating Partner (CPs) reports and submission of invoices for onward processing; offer technical support to CPs as necessary Undertake field visits to project sites periodically to conduct screening assessments, project monitoring and adherence to WFP targeting criteria and SOP compliance. Conduct quarterly meetings with CPs and Local authority or bilaterally whenever required. Assist the WFP Officer and implementing partners in encouraging women's access to economic skills development and sensitizing public opinion on gender issues and gender-focused activities.

A post-secondary certificate in nutrition, public health or related functional area is desirable. Experience: Four years of progressively responsible support experience in emergency assistance and humanitarian programmes with at least two years working in nutrition related program activities. Language: Proficiency in oral and written communication in Somali and English is a must. Knowlege & Skills: Experience in working and implementing nutrition programmes Ability to plan and organize work, initiative, and problem-solving skills; ability to work independently with minimum supervision. Experience working with various implementing partners (NGOs, UN agencies, government counterparts). Excellent report writing and presentation skills. Experience utilizing computers including word processing, spreadsheet and other standard software packages.
